Y se le ocurri\u00f3 que quer\u00eda hacer un show de <strong>sketches c\u00f3micos<\/strong>, o <em><strong>sketch comedy<\/strong><\/em> como se le conoce en el gringo.<br \/>\nAs\u00ed naci\u00f3 <strong>The Dana Carvey Show<\/strong>, un malogrado milagro que se propuso rebasar todos los l\u00edmites que hasta ese momento se hab\u00edan impuesto en la <strong>televisi\u00f3n norteamericana<\/strong>. Y todo sonaba a \u00e9xito, pero fue tal el af\u00e1n de desconcertar al respetable e invitarlos a una dimensi\u00f3n donde <strong>drama<\/strong>, <strong>comedia<\/strong> y <strong>locura<\/strong> eran m\u00e1s o menos inseparables, que tan s\u00f3lo dur\u00f3 una temporada. No es de extra\u00f1arse, en el primer episodio <strong>Bill Clinton<\/strong> amamanta gatitos.<br \/>\nSin embargo este show <strong>marc\u00f3 a toda una generaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y form\u00f3 a algunas de las personalidades m\u00e1s importantes de la risa gringa, y por lo tanto del mundo. \u00bfQui\u00e9nes? Pues nada m\u00e1s y nada menos que a <strong>Steve Carell<\/strong>, Bill Chott, <strong>Stephen Colbert<\/strong>, Elon Gold, Chris McKinney, Heather Morgan, Peggy Shay, Robert Smigel, James Stephens III, <strong>Louis C.K<\/strong>, <strong>Charlie Kaufman<\/strong>, Jon Glaser, Dino Stamatopoulos, Spike Feresten y Robert Carlock. Todos ellos, en ese momento perfectos desconocidos, ahora son piezas fundamentales del entretenimiento del d\u00eda a d\u00eda.<br \/>\nTristemente <strong>The Dana Carvey Show<\/strong> fue cancelado rapidamente. Un <strong>fracaso total<\/strong> para algunos; escuela y vocaci\u00f3n para otros.
